Installing Chiip
To install the chip, you need to open your case first. You'll need a triwing screwdriver to do this. Make your own Search the web for instructions on disassembly. A small guide with pictures can be found at Wii-Xposed
A helpful video on teardown of the Wii can be found on Youtube
You will solder to the bottom side of the dvd drive, to exactly the same pads that modchips like the Wiinja or Cyclowiz connect to.

Let's test
Time for some testing!
Turn the Wii on - after about a second, the status LED should light, which means you were successful and you should be able to use you modded Wii now. If it blinks, check the Blinkcodes page.
You should now be having a fully functional Wii modchip - have fun!
